Check-out from your hotel in Genoa this morning and take your private transfer to the south east, along the coast. Today you will start discovering the Dolce Vita style of the Italian Riviera as you travel towards the beautiful oceanside village of Sestri Levante, midway between Portofino and Cinque Terre.
Later in the afternoon you’ll be welcomed by our Pesto expert and take part in a special cooking class followed by dinner with what you have expertly prepared. Learn to prepare the region’s famous pesto as tradition dictates, with mortar and pestle.

Portofino Eco Farm & Traditional Lunch

The famous village of Portofino is immersed in a unique natural setting and today you’ll be welcomed by a local producer to visit an eco farm, born from the recovery of abandoned lands with the aim to develop sustainable agriculture and tourism. The view will leave you speechless!
At lunch we will make ourselves comfortable in a beautiful old mill where you’ll enjoy a delicious tasting lunch based on local specialties. Your transport today is via train and ferry, as it’s the way locals travel and also in some cases the only way to get from village to village.
