This is an extensive itinerary which visits family wineries and bigger cellars alike. It's a journey that will have you travelling through the excellences of Sicilian wines. Every day you will discover new wines without forgetting to discover the real Sicily, which is rich in art, culture, tradition, good food and natural beauty.
Arrival into Catania airport in the early afternoon. You'll hit the ground running today and upon pick up enjoy a guided city tour of Catania. Following will be a transfer to an Etna south winery for guided visit and dinner with wine tasting. Transfer to the hotel in Catania city centre, check-in and overnight.
Wines of the day: Etna white, Etna red, Nerello Mascalese, sparkling wine
Etna and Taormina
After breakfast, take a four wheel drive Etna excursion and journey to an Etna north winery for a guided visit and light lunch with paired wine tasting. After lunch transfer to Taormina for a guided visit of this gorgeous village by the sea with the ancient theatre. Transfer to another Etna winery and dinner with wine tasting. Return to the hotel and overnight.

Modica, Vittoria and Ragusa
After breakfast transfer to Modica for a tour of the baroque city (nick-named the city of 100 churches). Visit to a small artisan store specialised in the production of Modica’s particular style of chocolate for a demonstration and tasting. Transfer to Pachino area to visit an organic & biodinamic winery and followed by a light lunch with wine tasting.
In the afternoon transfer to Vittoria in the DOCG of Cerasuolo di Vittoria to visit a winery with wine tasting, then transfer to the hotel in Ragusa, dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, departure for the longest transfer of your stay, to reach western Sicily. The first stop is in Butera to visit a winery where we’ll enjoy a wine tasting and a light lunch. After lunch, transfer to Agrigento for a guided visit to the Valley of Temples. Following will be a transfer to Marsala and check-in at the hotel, dinner and overnight.

Erice, Trapani, Marsala
Breakfast in hotel and transfer to Erice and visit the quaint little village on the mountaintop overlooking Trapani. After a passage to Marsala city centre, transfer to Florio historical winery for a visit and wine tasting. Lunch in a local restaurant and, in the afternoon enjoy a guided visit of the Marsala salt pans. Return to the hotel for a shower. Transfer to a family winery, for a guided visit and farewell dinner with wine tasting. Return to the hotel and overnight.

Overnight Marsala area
After breakfast, check-out and transfer to Palermo airport. During the transfer, according with the flight departure, it's possible to have one last stop at a winery in the Partinico area for a wine tasting.
