An extraordinary round trip on the Peloponnese focused on authentic gastronomy, excellent wines, with visits to sites of world cultural heritage and a unique landscape. Get to know everything about Greek wine, the inspiring history and the legendary mythology. Visit modern wineries, an organic olive oil producer and the byzantine city Monemvassia. Experience the secrets of archery and a cooking class held by an awarded chef. Enjoy a ride along the coastline, through green olive groves and over the mountain, as well as the famous Greek hospitality.

Day One
Arrival, Corinth Canal, Giannikos Winery
Individual arrival in Athens, pick up at the airport by Venikos
Transfer to Loutraki (1h 20)
Short stop at the Corinth Canal with an introduction to the history of the canal Arrival & check-in at the hotel that is located next to the sea
Visit at the organic winery Giannikos in Corinth, walk through the vineyard, introduction to organic viticulture and wine making, tasting of the wines in the beautiful wine cellar
Dinner together with the wine maker in a local fish restaurant at the Gulf of Corinth Mezze with fresh local fish and traditional plates, accompanied by the wines form the winery

Day Two
Wine Region Nemea, Wisdom of Nature, Archery Lesson & Wine Seminar
Visit at the archaeological site of Nemea and the ancient stadium
Visit at a selected winery, tasting of the wines, introduction to the indigenous grape variety Agiorgitiko
Visit at Wisdom of Nature, a local producer of organic balsamic vinegar, introduction to the production process and tasting of the products
Picnic in the vineyard with local delicacies
Archery lesson in the vineyard, our experienced trainer introduces us to the secrets of archery
Wine seminar “The modern wines of Greece” at House Venikos, introduction to the ambassador grape varieties of Greece, guided by our oenologist or an experienced winemaker you will taste 8 characteristic wines made from Greek grape varieties Traditional barbeque at house Venikos cooked by our chef and accompanied by the wines of the seminar

Day Three
Mystras and Monemvassia
Check-out and drive to Mystras (1h 50)
Hike through the ruins of the Byzantine city of Mystras, introduction in the byzantine history and wine culture
Lunch at a local tavern
Transfer to Monemvassia (1h 30)
Check-in at the beautiful boutique hotel in the old town of Monemvassia
Free time to rest, swim, walk in the city or hike on the rock of the island
Dinner at the excellent local tavern accompanied by the wines of the Monemvassia winery

Day Four
Monemvassia, Monemvassia Winery
Free time to rest, swim, walk in the city or hike on the rock of the island
Visit at the Monemvassia Winery
Introduction to the indigenous grape variety and the famous Malvasia sweet wine Picnic in the vineyard
Return to Monemvassia
Free time to rest, swim, walk in the city or hike on the rock of the island
Dinner at the excellent local tavern accompanied by the wines of the Monemvassia winery

Day Five
Mountain Village Kosmas, Monastery Moni Elonis, Leonidio, Nafplio
Check-out
Drive through the beautiful olive groves up to the mountains of Parnonas to the picturesque mountain village Kosmas, coffee break at the village
We continue the ride to the impressive monastery Moni Elonis, which was built into the mountain, stopover and visit at the monastery
Drive from the mountains down to the sea until Leonidio where we will enjoy lunch at a famous fish tavern directly at the sea
We continue along the beautiful coastal road until Nafplio
Check-in at the hotel in Nafplio
Dinner at a selected restaurant in Nafplio

Day Six
Mycenae, Skouras Winery, Tolo, Greek Cooking Lesson
Transfer to Mycenae
Visit at the stunning archaeological site Mycenae, home of the legendary king Agamemnon
Visit at the modern winery Skouras, guided tour and tasting of their wines
Transfer to Tolo, picnic at the beach
Cooking lesson with an awarded chef from the cooking school with eight cooking hats
We learn to cook Greek specialities and enjoy afterwards our self-cooked dinner on the terrace with an impressive view over the bay of Tolo

Day Seven
Epidauros, Olive Oil Production, Athens by Night
Check-out and drive to Epidauros
Visit at an organic olive oil producer, introduction to the production process, introduction to professional tasting techniques of olive oils, product tasting
Visit the remarkable ancient theatre Epidauros and the Sanctuary of Asclepios Lunch at a tavern close to the sea
Transfer to Athens, check-in at the hotel in the city centre
Guided evening walk in Athens, visit a local wine bar
Final dinner at a selected tavern

Athens & Departure
Guided city walk, get to know the town like a local
